Every stone is selected individually, with attention to the qualities that truly matter — whether it is intended for faceting, jewelry, or a collection.
For faceting rough, I look closely at:

★ Faceting potential and orientation
★ Structural stability
★ Expected yield
★ Color and optical character
I do not classify decorative mineral material as “facet grade” simply because it transmits light. Rough offered for faceting is material I consider genuinely suitable for cutting.
As a faceter myself, I evaluate rough from a cutter’s perspective — considering not only how a stone looks in its natural state, but what it may become after cutting.
For faceted gemstones, the same attention extends to the finished stone. Precision-faceted pieces are cut individually, with designs and proportions chosen to complement the particular material rather than simply following standardized shapes.
The aim is simple: to offer gemstones and rough that I can confidently stand behind.
